Growing food is only one of the ways the Growcer network use their farms to make an impact. ‘Namgis Business Development Corp worked with Growcer to secure a grant to host three Rootcamps to train B.C. residents on indoor agriculture. Volunteers of America Upstate New York runs a workforce development program with local partner organizations. The Altario School incorporates their two farms into their curriculum and agriculture academy.
